Tamara Morton is a trauma-informed mental health professional specializing in complex trauma, parts work, and mind–body healing. With advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy—including intensive study with Dr. Richard Schwartz and Dr. Frank Anderson—Tamara helps clients heal internal conflict, emotional wounds, and long-standing patterns of anxiety, depression, and self-protection.
Her approach integrates polyvagal theory, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation, supported by specialized training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She has extensive experience in evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, and ACT, allowing her to guide clients in building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and meaningful behavioral change.
Tamara also brings dedicated expertise in narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting dynamics, and relational trauma recovery. Her training through the Narcissism & Gaslighting Clinical Summit enhances her ability to support survivors in rebuilding clarity, safety, and self-trust.
In addition, Tamara is trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, equipping her to help partners strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and repair relational patterns.
Rooted in compassion, curiosity, and empowerment, Tamara’s work blends cutting-edge trauma science with holistic, integrative practice. She is committed to helping individuals and couples reconnect with their inner wisdom, restore nervous system balance, and cultivate lasting emotional resilience.
